The location of Maggie's Place was perfect, being both close to the city center and surprisingly quiet. We loved that it was dog-friendly, as our furry friend was able to join us on our trip. The sofa bed in the living room was incredibly comfortable, which came in handy for our elderly relative who couldn't navigate the steep stairs. The hamper provided upon arrival was incredibly generous and added to the comfort of our short stay.

The hotel facilities were great, with excellent cooking facilities in the kitchen and a cozy snug area with a big TV. The beds were comfortable, especially the one in the back bedroom. Our stay at Maggie's Place exceeded our expectations! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the city center of wonderful York. The villa was modern, clean, and very comfortable, with excellent cooking facilities and great heating. The staff treated us warmly and the welcome basket of local produce was a delightful touch.

Breakfast delights: It would have been nice to have a couple more rolls available, especially since it was a bank holiday.
